Singer-songwriter, musician, and entertainer best describe Parker James. His love for blue-eyed soul music began at an early age and has grown into a career in music spanning 25 years. At the age of 15,his musical journey began when he joined a band along side his older brother, E.P. Richardson 3rd., A.K.A. Frog, by only singing a few songs a night and helping set-up equipment. After a few years of experience, he found himself at the ripe old age of 19 on stage as the youngest singer/frontman of The Fabulous Boogie Kings working along side G.G. Shinn, Duane Yates, and Jerry LaCroix, to name a few.He eventually went on to record 2 albums while in the band. Years later, Parker recorded his first solo album, "Simply Parker" which was comprised of a mixture of original music, along with his favorite covers, while working at G.G.'s club in Lake Charles, La. in 1999. In 2007, he released "Louisiana Mardi Gras Gumbo." The album was filled with favorite Mardi Gras covers with the exception of"Bourbon Street Balcony" which was a Parker James original, depicting a day at a Mardi Gras parade on Bourbon Street.Currently, Parker James is working on a new solo project, which will open the door to new horizons in an already impressive musical career.
